Version History
Version 1.0.11 (November 16, 2020)
* Fixed video links for ‘Pure Worship’ publication
* Fixed an issue where if the main window slightly spilled over to the second display, JWL Helper displayed a smaller media window.
Version 1.0.10 (April 23, 2020)
* Fixed an issue with song number indexing when Midweek Workbook contains a MEMORIAL ITEM
* Removed Windows 10 UWP integration code in favour of simple MessageBox calls
* When displaying an IMAGE, LEFT/RIGHT cursors or PgUp/PgDown can be used to transition through images
Version 1.0.9 (private)
Version 1.0.8 (October 30, 2018)
* Fixed a problem where Audio files (.MP3 or .WAV) weren’t recognized. They now be added and played the same as video files (they appear under the VIDEO tab).
* If “UserImage” or “UserVideo” folders aren’t specified in the INI, they are now created automatically to improve ease of use.
* For Sunday meetings, if “Song 1” was input manually, it is now remembered after refreshing the interface.
* Keyboard input has been enabled for entering song numbers.
Version 1.0.7 (October 9, 2018)
* Implemented image “cross-fade” effect when transitioning between images.
* Improved monitor display handling. JWLH now uses lower level functions to extract the names of available displays rather than just “DISPLAY 1” etc.
* Improved JW Library compatibility code (again!) to try to eliminate the issue when the JW Library fails to come back to the front after displaying a video.
* BUG FIX: PDF handling now works correctly and PDF documents are correctly shown on the IMAGES tab.
Version 1.0.6 (August 13, 2018)
* Added a new “Copy to Clipboard” function when right-clicking on a media button. This copies the source media file to the Windows clipboard, allowing you to copy it elsewhere (e.g. if you have a second school with an independent screen and need to display media from a memory stick).
* Added some date sorting code in case midweek/weekend meeting days are in an unusual order
* BUG FIX: Fixed an issue with the parser which was loading all referenced “jy” media for w/b August 13.
Version 1.0.5 (August 6, 2018)
* Auto-update check – JWL Helper will now notify you (via a Windows 10 notification) when a newer version is available.
* Custom REMINDERS – you can now specify a reminder to be shown when a video starts and/or finishes. For example, if live streaming the meeting via OBS, the operator can be reminded to switch the stream over to the video output when a video starts, and then back to the platform camera once the video finishes.
To accomplish this, there are two new settings which can be added to the INI file under the [Settings] section :-
Reminder_OnVideoStart=A reminder to show when a video starts
Reminder_OnVideoFinish=Another reminder prompt for when the video finishes
* “Right-click -> Delete” from JWL Helper could fail because the user media file might be “locked” by JWL Helper. This release attempts to workaround that.
* Some more improvements to the JW Library compatibility (still trying to resolve those odd occasions when the JWL media window refuses to come back on the media display).
Version 1.0.4 (July 27, 2018)
How To Install Jw Library On Mac Os
* Added support for AUDIO files (*.mp3, *.wav) to be played. They behave like video files – simply add them to the USER VIDEOS folder.
* Improved “JW Library compatibility“. Sometimes the JWL media window wasn’t coming back to the front after playing a video. Hopefully this should be resolved.
